Takween ("we", "us") operates Takween Card, a service that supplies NFC business cards, related accessories and the digital card pages they open.

This policy explains what personal information Takween Card collects, why, who it is shared with, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read, not to hide things.

1. Information you give us

2. Information collected automatically

Card views and link taps. When a card page is opened we record that a view happened, and which button was tapped. We do not record who did it — no name, no IP address, no device identifier, no cookie. It is a count, nothing more. Its purpose is to show the card owner how their card is performing.
Website analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and does not use cookies and does not fingerprint visitors.
Security logs. Our hosting provider and Cloudflare keep standard server logs, including IP addresses, to protect the service against attacks and abuse.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. Ever.
We do not share it with advertisers, and we run no advertising or tracking pixels.
We do not store card or bank details. Payment is made directly through Whish Money, and we only see that a payment reached us.
We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

4. If you are a Takween Card customer with your own visitors

If a visitor books an appointment through your card, or subscribes to your updates, that information belongs to you. We store it on your behalf so you can see it in your dashboard. We do not use it for our own purposes, we do not contact those people, and we do not receive a copy of your bookings. You are responsible for how you use the details your own visitors give you.

5. Who we share information with

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to.

6. How long we keep it

Account and card data — while your account is open. Delete a card and it is removed from public view immediately; we keep an internal copy briefly in case of accidental deletion.
Orders — kept as business records.
View and tap counts — kept as anonymous totals.

To close your account and have your data removed, email us and we will action it.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

Show you the personal information we hold about you
Correct anything wrong — most of it you can edit yourself in your dashboard
Delete your account and its data
Stop using your information for something you object to

Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

8. Security

Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, never stored in readable form, and no member of our team can see them. Database access is restricted so each account can only reach its own data. The admin area is protected by a separate login. No system is perfect, but if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you.

9. Children

This service is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of Lebanon, including Law No. 81/2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data.

If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR — including data portability and the right to complain to your national supervisory authority. We will honour those requests.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we update the date at the top. Significant changes will be notified in your dashboard.
