Who we are

Takween ("we", "us") operates Takween Card, a service that supplies NFC business cards, related accessories and the digital card pages they open.

These terms apply when you buy from us or use a Takween Card account. Please read the Refunds section carefully — personalised items are treated differently from stock items.

1. Ordering and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and include the design service where stated.
Delivery is $4.00 per order.
All orders are paid in advance by Whish Money before we ship. There is no cash on delivery.
An order is confirmed once payment reaches us. Until then we treat it as a request, and we may decline an order — for example if an item is out of stock or the artwork cannot be printed.

2. Design and approval

Professional design is included free with the products that say so. We design your item from the details and files you send, and we send you a preview before printing. You may ask for changes. Printing begins once you approve the preview. Please check the spelling of names, titles and links carefully — once approved and printed, the cost of a reprint caused by an error in the approved artwork is yours.

3. Delivery

Beirut: 1–2 working days. Elsewhere in Lebanon: 2–3 working days.
These are estimates from the moment your design is approved, not guarantees.
Please give a complete address and a phone number that is answered. Repeat delivery attempts caused by an incorrect address may be charged.

4. Refunds and returns

The short version

If we got it wrong, we fix it or refund it. If the item is personalised and correct as approved, we cannot resell it, so it cannot be returned.

We will replace or refund, at no cost to you, if:

The item arrives damaged or faulty
The NFC chip or QR code does not work and cannot be fixed remotely
We printed something different from the preview you approved
You received the wrong item

Tell us within 7 days of delivery, with a photo where relevant.

We cannot accept a return if:

The item is personalised — printed or engraved with your name, logo, business name or a link — and it is correct as approved. This is standard for custom-made goods, which are exempt from the usual right to change your mind.
You approved artwork containing a mistake we reproduced faithfully
The item has been used, worn, scratched or damaged after delivery

Non-personalised items

Stock items with no personalisation — a plain case, a ready-made review card — may be returned unused and in their original packaging within 7 days for a refund of the item price. Return postage is yours unless the item was faulty.

How refunds are paid

By Whish Money to the number that paid, normally within 7 working days of us agreeing the refund. The $4.00 delivery fee is refunded only where the fault was ours.

5. Your digital card

The card price is a one-time payment. There is no subscription, no monthly fee and no yearly renewal.
Your page stays online and editable, and you can change your details as often as you like at no further cost.
We hold no payment details and nothing is ever charged automatically.
We aim to keep the service available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may perform maintenance.

5.1 Future changes to pricing

There is no recurring fee today, and we have no plans to introduce one. If that ever changed, these protections would apply:

We would give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in your dashboard.
Any change would apply only going forward — never to a card you have already bought at the one-time price.
Nothing can be charged without you deciding to pay it, because we keep no payment details.
Prices for new orders may change at any time; the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

6. What you may not put on a card

You are responsible for the content you publish. You may not use our service for content that is unlawful, hateful, obscene, deceptive, infringes someone else's trademark or copyright, impersonates another person or business, or promotes a scam. We may suspend a card that breaches this, and will tell you why.

7. Intellectual property

You keep ownership of your logo, photographs and content, and you grant us permission to use them solely to produce and host your order. You confirm you have the right to use any logo or image you send us. The Takween name, our site design and our software remain ours.

8. Liability

We are responsible for supplying what you ordered and for fixing our mistakes. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — such as lost business or lost profit — arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Trackers and pet products. Bluetooth trackers depend on nearby phones and network coverage and will not work everywhere. They are an aid, not a guarantee. Do not rely on a tracker or a Pet Virtual ID as the only means of keeping a person or animal safe, and please use a physical ID tag as well.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and disputes fall to the competent courts of Beirut. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
